Growing up in the US, Thailand, and Japan, and studying abroad in the UK in-between, Hina developed an interest in cultural differences, which led her to major in anthropology and minor in history at Sophia University. During her university years, Hina interned at the UNDP in Mozambique, at JICA in Tunisia, and the Ship for World Youth programme by the Cabinet Office.

Prior to joining Yuzu Kyodai, Hina worked at the British Embassy Tokyo and Tokyo 2020.

Hina is passionate about nature – from surfing and diving to hiking and skiing.
